Description

The underground near Kłodzko is a remnant of the merchant basement.

In the old days merchant cellars served as a storehouse for goods and shelter in the event of danger. Today, however, they are one of the greatest tourist attractions of this wonderful city.

The tunnels are visited by ourselves and there is no problem with them, because they are equipped with audio and video systems that tell us about their purpose, and the expositions showing the everyday life of the inhabitants complete them in full. The biggest impression on the visitors is made by tables with records of authentic processes that took place in Kłodzko, along with penalties imposed on culprits. Tufts pass on their backs when they read how cruel they were to be tormented towards the prisoners.

You want, dear tourist, to experience unforgettable moments in the dark, damp dungeons, where history lurks around every corner, you definitely have to visit this place.

Attraction for both adults and for bolder kids, who will certainly be telling their friends for a long time at school, how they dealt with the accused for witchcraft or other evil acts.

Kłodzko is located in the Lower Silesia region, at the foot of the Bardzkie Mountains. Its history dates back to 981 when the first mention of the village appeared in the chronicle of the Czech chronicler Kosmas. Currently, Kłodzko has more than 25,000 inhabitants, and on its grounds you can find many monuments - both those raised by man and by nature - in the city there are 5 trees, which are recognized as natural monuments. Due to its long history and many attractions, the city abounds in diverse accommodation. Kłodzko is a city whose attractions such as the fortress or the Gothic bridge are eagerly visited by tourists. The city is also a perfect starting point to the Kłodzko basin - this is where the yellow tourist trail goes towards Kłodzka Góra. Tourist trails that hide underground - the Underground Tourist Route of the Millennium of the Polish State and the Underground Tourist Route in the Kłodzko Fortress, both accessible to tourists in the 1970s, are also a big attraction.
