Accomodation in Busko Zdrój

Busko-Zdrój is a health resort located in the picturesque region of Ponidzie, in the Świętokrzyskie Province. The history of this town is very long as the origins date back to the 12th century, when it was a shepherd settlement raising horses for prince teams.

The spa treatment of this town is based on unique mineral waters - sulphide and hydrogen sulfide brines. The main factor of mineral waters is sulphide ion. During the bath, it penetrates the skin into the blood and gets into the body which affects us in many positive ways. There are several physiotherapy centers here, all balneological and rehabilitation treatments.

From the Spa Park, a nice, green promenade leads to the marketplace in Busko, with a magnificent fountain. On the way you can meet such objects as: Dersław Castle, Green Gallery or Wojtek Belon's bench. A bit behind the market is the imposing church of the Immaculate Conception, which is part of the former Norbertine monastery complex, and a little further worth seeing is the wooden church of St. Leonard.

On the border with Łagiewniki, you can find "The Zimne Wody" Reserve where you geological deposits of gypsum can be found - they are called swallow tails.
