Accommodation in Starachowice

Starachowice is  a city surrounded by forests. It is located on the border of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains and Przedgórze Iłżeckie, in the valley of the Kamienna River. Due to its picturesque location on the map, it is an attractive destination for all kinds of accommodation. Starachowice is the starting point of tourist routes, among which we can distinguish the green trail leading to Łączna, the yellow trail leading to Iłża, the black trail leading to Wykus, the red bicycle trail, the yellow road to Wąchock and the yellow bicycle trail "Forest paths". In addition, the city is crossed by a red tourist trail from Skarżysko Kamienna, a black bicycle route to Iłża and a blue bicycle route leading from Skarżysko-Kamienna to Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. The city also has within its borders two bathing areas and a water reservoir, part of which is used as a recreational water facility, therefore all lovers of active recreation will not complain about accommodation.

Starachowice can boast of monuments of the blast-furnace plant complex from the 19th century, which was entered in the register of immovable monuments, which includes residential and service buildings, as well as sacred buildings and a narrow-gauge railway. It is also a city that in the recent past was known for the production of light and medium-sized trucks called STAR.
