The first vehicle that became the nucleus of the current collection became a vehicle bought by dr. Tadeusz Kołacz in 1977.

At present, the collection consists of almost 60 sleds and carriages, which are at the disposal of the Gallen Foundation - a public benefit organization, which in turn established the Carriage Museum Galowice in 2011.

On the four floors of the old granary, a museum exhibition was placed, which is, among others, original, restored vehicles - from horse sledges, through carriage, horse fire truck, to a collection of cavalry saddles, harnesses and a bridle.
