The history of the Toy Museum in Krynica-Zdrój

Toy Museum Krynica was opened in July 2010 as a branch of the Toy Museum in Kudowa-Zdrój, which has been in existence since 2002. It is run by a couple of enthusiasts who, while continuing the family tradition, care about the cultural heritage of a toy. Over 3,000 world-class exhibits are gathered in the Krynicki Museum. At about three hundred square meters, you'll find toys from almost all periods - from antiquity to the 1980s. The museum's collections include home theater, LEGO exhibition, toys from films, dolls along with accessories, tin toys, boys' milii, blocks, animals, optical toys and self-exteriors. One of the attractions of the Toy Museum in Krynica is a fully equipped mini school class from 50 years ago. Each year, new exhibits arrive to our museum, thanks to which the collection of toys is constantly growing.

Toy Museum in Krynica-Zdrój - a unique place on the map of Lesser Poland

Many toys from our museums were presented at exhibitions in other regions of Poland, including in the Książ Castle, the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle in Szczecin, the Museum of the Kłodzko Region, or the Regional Museum in Janów Lubelski. One of our greatest successes was to represent Poland during the world congress of toy museums TOYCO in Istanbul. Our exhibition has been recognized by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
