Przemyśl is one of the oldest and most beautiful Polish cities. It is located in the Podkarpackie region, on the San River - on its both banks. The history of this city dates back to the 10th century and even earlier. In the early Middle Ages, Przemyśl was one of the historic Grodów Czerwińskie located on the border. The clash of different cultures and religions from the very beginning of the city's existence is visible here at every step. Various architecture and temples of different religions are a characteristic feature of this city.

In the Podkarpackie Voivodeship in Przemyśl there is the largest number of historic buildings.
