Accommodation in Wadowice

Wadowice is a now known town located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, at the foot of the Little Beskids. Although it is a small town, there is probably no person in the whole country who did not hear about this place, thanks to the beloved Polish Pope - Karol Wojtyla, who was born here and spent his childhood.

In the Museum of the Home of John Paul II, visitors can see several elements of the old equipment, but also many other memorabilia related to the life and activities of the future Pope. In the neighborhood of the papal house is the City Museum.

The Basilica in Wadowice (Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary) has a miraculous image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. It is located in the center of Wadowice, by the Market Square. Every year on 18 May, on the anniversary of the birth of John Paul II, the Wadowice Days begin here, during which concerts and other forms of entertainment take place.
