Great race of St. Hubert at the Ferensteiner Stud

We have a great pleasure to invite you to the extraordinary event which is the Grand Run of Saint Hertz, which will take place on October 13, 2018 at the Ferenstein Horse Stud in Gałków. The tradition of our Hubertus race dates back to eighteen years! This historical equestrian festival gives the impression of moving into a world full of elegance, beauty and legendary Polish courage. In the picturesque scenery of Masuria, a group of more than forty cavalrymen is leaving, led by Karolina Ferenstein-Kraśko and Piotr Kraśko. The breathtaking struggle, as every year, will be watched by more than three hundred people, accompanying the team on picnic sledges. Great picnic baskets will be prepared for each of the cars! IT is almost a three-hour trip through the beautiful Piska Forest, completed with adrenaline, risk and beauty pursuit behind a fox. Everything starts traditionally walking around the organic market, where you can equip yourself with products from local producers - excellent quality meats, cheeses and other delicacies. At 13:00 there will be a presentation of the participants on the Hippodrome, then the riders set out on their route, and the viewers on carts reach them in the most picturesque places, where the most difficult obstacles are set.

One of the biggest experiences is definitely the defeat of the Krutynia River! Several hundred people from the nearby bridge are following the participants' struggles, rewarding them with applause. Great Race of St. Hubert is becoming an increasingly important event year by year. The momentum with which it is prepared makes it one of the largest events of this type in Poland.

Due to the great interest, orders will be accepted in the order of applications "whoever comes first". The number of places is limited. When making a reservation, please provide a detailed list of guests (name, surname) and information on which company you would like to sit on the picnic cart. This will be significantly facilitated by the convenient location of guests.

We also thought about the youngest horse riding adepts! On Sunday, October 14th, the Children's Hubertus will take place, which has already had several years of tradition. This event is very popular among children, making them happy.
