This institution is part of the Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials and is located in the post-industrial part of Krakow, Zabłocie, at ul. Lipowa 3, opposite Oscar Schindler's Factory and the Museum of Contemporary Art MOCAK.

on SHOWS FOR GLASS MANUFACTURE

The shows take place in a historic production hall, listed on the Krakow Technology Route. During the show, the steelworkers create in the eyes of the public both utility glasses - vases, mugs, plates and decorative - flowers, animal figurines, paper buttons. Visitors have the opportunity to try their hand at the steelworker's profession by blowing in a steel shafting or forming glass on a metallurgical bench. We provide the organized groups with the care of a guide who familiarizes the guests with the Center for the design of utility glass and manual molding technology.

FOR EXHIBITION "GLASS IN KRAKOW. INDUSTRY AND ART"

With the help of original exhibits, archival documents and multimedia solutions, the exhibition presents the history of one of the largest pre-war industrial plants in Krakow - the glassworks, created at ul. Lipowa 3 in 1931. Also presented are collections of historic glass tools, 19th-century historical glass and "Krakow glass", produced in this place in 1969-1998. You can expand your knowledge in the field of glass chemistry, glass production technology or modern glass application.

to GALERIA LIPOWA 3

In the Lipowa 3 Gallery, temporary exhibitions presenting the output of contemporary Polish artists in glass and ceramics are organized. In a specially arranged space, we display glass and ceramic sculptures, paintings, installations and design.

In the company store operating right next to the gallery you can buy glass products, hand made in the Center of Glass and Ceramics by steelworkers. We also cooperate with a dozen or so artists from all over Poland, most of whom are graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and Wrocław. All products are unique and unique - perfect for any occasion.

In Galeria Lipowa 3 you can also use the glass engraving service. We make inscriptions, ornaments, drawings - also according to individual projects. We provide the service both on our own glasses and on the glass provided by the customer.

for PLASTIC WORKSHOPS

The Glass and Ceramics Center Lipowa 3 organizes glass decoration workshops using traditional and contemporary artistic techniques. Workshops are aimed at both children and adults. Adapted to the age of the participants, thematically diversified and creative, they are a great opportunity to develop artistic talent, dormant in all of us. We invite organized groups and individual clients. We provide all necessary artistic materials, animator care and great fun!
