Hydropolis is a place where various multimedia technologies, interactive installations, faithful replicas and models as well as information-rich touch screens serve one purpose: to show water from various fascinating perspectives.

History

Hydropolis was opened in December 2015. This is the only such facility in Poland and one of the few in the world - the exhibition is located in a historic, 19th-century underground tank of clean water with an area of ​​4000 m2.

The tank was in its original function until 2011, when it was taken out of service. After carrying out the necessary renovation and revitalization, the building was transformed into the Environmental Education Center of Hydropolis.
The object is on the list of monuments.

For children under the age of 3, admission is free.

• The concessionary ticket is available to pre-school children, primary and secondary school pupils up to 19 years, students and participants of doctoral studies, pensioners, as well as invalids and disabled persons, along with their guardians, upon presentation of relevant documents entitling them to a discount,
• Group tickets are for people in the group of 10 or more people. In the case of organized groups, one guardian per 10 people is entitled to free admission,
• The ticket with the Urbancard Premium card is available to card holders. Verification of the right to the discount takes place upon presentation of the card at the ticket office of Hydropolis before entering the exhibition area. Up to 1 ticket with the Urbancard Premium card you can purchase up to 5 concession tickets with an additional discount. Verification of the right to purchase a concessionary ticket is made on presentation of relevant documents at the box office of Hydropolis before entering the exhibition area
• A family ticket with a Big Family Card is available for 2 adults, with at least 3 children. It is available to holders of the Large Family Card and the "Two plus three and more" cards. It is also possible to buy single tickets (normal, reduced), with an additional discount for those with a Big Family Card. Verification of the right to purchase tickets with the Large Family Card is made on presentation of relevant documents at the box office of Hydropolis before entering the exhibition area.
