Hortulus Gardens is a unique place of rest, entertainment and nature education.

Hortulus Gardens are located in the Koszalin province in the unique climate zone 7b. The gardens are located only 8 kilometers in a straight line from the shore of the Baltic Sea. It is the northernmost dendrological collection in Poland.

The complex consists of two garden complexes of a different nature - the Hortulus Theme Gardens and the Hortulus Spectabilis Gardens. The garden complexes are 2 km away from each other, and there is the Hortulus Ornamental Nurseries plant between them.

The Hortulus Theme Gardens are close to 30 different, separate themed gardens extending over an area of ​​over 4 hours. Among them are those related strictly to the type of environment - including rock garden, forest garden, as well as those in which architecture and style associated with art and national culture dominate, e.g. Japanese, French or Mediterranean garden. In the English style, a group of sense gardens was designed - each of them stimulates various human senses. The gaze will be taken over by the gardens of color, light and shadow, which include the garden of purple and fire, lilac-pink, blue-yellow, white. Hearing will be awakened by gardens of noise, rustling, sound, grass gardens and water gardens, including a garden in the style of an outstanding architect - Antonio Gaudi. The smell, aroma and aroma are primarily three types of herb gardens, a fragrant garden and a beautiful rosarium in the English style.

Thanks to the mild climate, you can admire exotic and rare plants in Poland, which are extremely difficult to grow due to too cold winters. Our specimens find here favorable conditions for growth and vegetation.

The Hortulus Theme Gardens are also elements of architecture and garden art incorporated into the vegetation: sculptures, arbors, bridges, ponds and ponds.

The gardens look attractive at any time of the year

In the spring - from April to May - you can admire the fabulous flower performance. Thousands of tulips, narcissus, hyacinths bloom in demanding data, original and unusual shapes, filling all corners in the gardens.

June is an explosion of colors and shades of blooming azaleas, rhododendrons, lilacs and perennials. In hot summer you can find near the flower beds, summer perennials and other wonderful people.

Autumn in the garden - from time to time - the simplest mosaic, fragrances and aromas. This is a spectacular summary and poetic epilogue for a decorative garden, leaving an unforgettable impression on a long winter evenings.

Winter is a time of rest and tranquility in the Thematic Gardens of Hortulus ... and a silent fight for survival. For many plants, it is also a moment when you can see their beauty during the leafless period: dogwood, bent hazel, larch. In the winter the garden seems to be more readable, expressive, and when its shape and contours are "exaggerated" by rime, they clearly show the masterful work of a garden architect.
