Description
In 1948, the theater moved to the capital and occupied the premises of the pre-war riding school at 3 Litewska Street, where it is still in use today.
Over 60 years of its existence, Syrena has been associated with outstanding artists: Irena Kwiatkowska, Alina Janowska, Hanka Bielicka, Zofia Czerwińska, Teresa Lipowska, Kazimierz Brusikiewicz, Edward Dziewoński, Adolf Dymsza, Roman Kłosowski, Bohdan Łazuka, Tadeusz Pluciński and Ludwik Sempoliński. The artists of the younger generation also performed here: Anna Dereszowska, Hanna Śleszyńska, Krystyna Tkacz, Magdalena Wójcik, Danuta Stenka, Beata Ścibakówna, Justyna Steczkowska, Wojciech Malajkat, Piotr Polk, Piotr Szwedes, Tomasz Sapryk, Artur Andrus, Zbigniew Zamachowski and many others.
The current director, Jacek Mikołajczyk, wants to transform the Syrena Theater into a modern musical theater geared towards a wide audience. The show inaugurating 2018 was the musical "Witches from Eastwick", which premiered on March 3rd. In addition to performances for adults, the Syrena Theater also has a fairy tale for children in the repertory.

Ticket offices and reservations.
Monday - Friday: 10:00 - 18:00.
Saturday: 12:00 - 18:00.
Sunday: 15:00 - 18:00
and for 1 hour before the performance break from 14:30 - 15:00.
