In the heart of the park there is the Arkonka Recreation Complex, which includes a restaurant, tennis courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts, an artificial beach, a skate park, changing in the winter into a huge ice rink or four swimming pools. Access to the complex is not complicated, and if you do not want to commute by car, you can use public transport, which allows you to get almost to the object itself. Why, then, should you go to the Arkonka Leisure Complex?

The facility located in Szczecin has several attractions that require physical effort, thus affect our condition and health. Badminton courts and floodlit tennis courts are available all year round. In the season from June to September, visitors can take advantage of the 25-meter and 16-meter-long swimming pool, which has been divided into 6 tracks, and the depth is from 130 to 180 centimeters.

The swimming pool is part of swimming pools with a total area of ​​8012 square meters. One of them is the recreational swimming pool, which occupies 2282m2, or over 25% of the area of ​​all swimming pools. The recreational pool has been divided into several zones. The first one has a depth of up to 40 centimeters and is intended for the youngest visitors. This zone was equipped with a water umbrella, water hedgehog, water tree and three islands. The second zone consists of geysers, foot massage points, a larger island or a wild river with a length of 59 meters. The depth in this zone reaches one meter. The pool was also equipped with three slides - family, wavy and kamikaze. The family slide is the shortest, since its length does not exceed 15 meters, and its starting level is located at a height of 2.1 meters. The starting points of the waved slide and kamikaze are at a height of 5.5 meters, however they differ in the length of the descent. Choosing the kamikaze slide, the descent will take place at the length of 20 meters, while wanting to take a wavy slide, we have to prepare for more than twice the distance, because its length is 52.5 meters.

The next basin is "Łezka", which extends over an area of ​​600 square meters. The water depth varies between 60 and 90 centimeters. This pool will be an ideal place for fun for both younger and adult clients of the complex. Foot massage points and a water umbrella will certainly make the time spent in the water more pleasant and guarantee even greater sensations.

The biggest swimming pool located in the Arkonka Recreation Complex is the "Morze" swimming pool. It covers an area of ​​almost 5,000 square meters. This basin is intended for every visitor, because the water does not exceed 40 centimeters. Its equipment is aimed at slightly older and larger customers, for example, a fountain with an ejection height of up to 15 meters, as well as the youngest participants for whom a playground or toys spouting water have been prepared. In addition, there are two smaller fountains, a water umbrella, four islands or two water hedgehogs.

It is obvious that after a good time in water or physical exercise, you need to supplement the liquids or eat a hot meal, therefore the complex has a restaurant serving cold drinks, desserts and dinner dishes, as well as a specially designated barbecue area.

The Arkonka Recreation Complex is an interesting place to spend your free time. It is addressed to tourists visiting Szczecin as well as its residents. The location in the city center and good access by public transport are additional assets that work in its favor. The complex may be an ideal place to spend your free time or to do your training. However, it should be remembered that in contrast to attractions not related to water, all swimming pools are open only and exclusively during the bathing season, namely from June to September.
